Montreal Jazz Fest Brass Bows and Beats

when: Sunday June 27, 2010
what: Jazz Mafia Hip-Hop Symphony
Montreal Jazz Fest 2010 was memorable.
me: documenting 30 musicians from san francisco on tour nyc-montreal-toronto-new port. Brass Bows and Beats playing main stage at the Montreal Jazz Festival for 40,000 people. The Jazz Mafia Crew found amazing and welcoming local musicians and artists. Thanks for the open hearts Montreal. Stayed an extra two days in Quebecois land. I speak French ok and really enjoyed using it. Sophiscated French love them. My last name Hornaday, it is french from Normandy and there is something inside me that relates to french culture. Bring it. A little piece of France with a Parisian flair in Quebec Canada. First timer……

East Coast skies

The clouds roll by and time is accounted by accomplishments. Heavy heart and air in hand swimming through humidity, forwards. Quieting the insides to listen to the stillness that lies around.

To the NW Corner of the USA–FORKS to TAHOE

So beautiful oh so beautiful the Rainforests of North America, The Olympic Peninsula WA

I am one week out of the forest and how I miss the solitude. I am snowboarding today felt quite like the rainforests do. Last day of the season at Northstar, Jazz Mafia cruises the slops. Boarded in a bra for the first time that was oh so nice kinda like peeing outside. Wind on my skin. Bathing Suit summer here I come to the East. I am excited to be in sag harbor painting this summer quite ocean lapping at my feet regenerating my chi. I am at peace and alil afraid of that quiteness the next three months will be a good quite test for me. For I do love to run my mouth but sometimes quietness is what my self needs to grow into the next thing.

change.
